Australian married couple Courtney and Grant take on House number 2 on the 20th season of The Block. They have been married for three years now, and the opportunity to be on The Block as renovators has been a great decision for them.
They said in an interview that they are yet to have kids, which is why now seemed to be the ideal time to be on the show. Courtney said, ‘We want to go into it with a positive attitude and have fun.’
Among five new couples taking up the challenge of building holiday homes on The Block this season, Courtney and Grant make themselves ready for an exciting and adventurous ride.
It is no surprise that challenges here are going to be difficult, and with couple Jesse and Paige quitting mid-show during filming, others are still holding up pretty well. All the contestants are brought to Victoria’s Phillip Island to complete their tasks and challenges.
Courtney And Grant: From Sydney Serendipity to a South Coast Wedding
Courtney and Grant have had a love marriage, as they may have been married for three years now, but they actually bumped into each other nine years ago. It was in Sydney where they met when Grant was into bartending work.
Courtney had moved from Sydney to Brisbane while Grant moved to Londo at that point in time, but their mutual understanding and deep emotions did not tear them apart.
The lovers had decided to plan a huge wedding three years ago in Malta, but due to Covid hitting all humans, their plan got scrapped. They ended up getting married on the South Coast of NSW, having a small wedding.
Courtney and Grant may not have enough experience in renovating and building stuff, but they are not completely new. They belong to designing and landscaping backgrounds, which will provide them with some help while they are on the show.
Courtney is the 32-year-old event account manager as well as a furniture manager, while Grant, 30 years old, is a full-time landscape business development manager.

Courtney’s professional work includes working for a major events hire company. She handles her online furniture business called The Lazy Stylist, which is also doing quite well. She hopes to take her business to a higher level after participating on The Block.
Grant, on the other hand, is the kind of person who is fearless when it comes to saying what he thinks is right. He belongs from Malta and is of Maltese heritage, which he is quite proud of. His professional work will definitely give him some boost on the show.
Together they are a mighty duo, and they go well together, having similar thought processes and a great deal of understanding. They are like cats and dogs because they can get on each other’s nerves sometimes, but they can figure out how to get back to each other with a joke. They are looking forward to a positive experience, especially Courtney.
