Gautam Gambhir Becomes The 25th Head Coach Of Team India & Salary

Gautam Gambhir has now officially taken the reins of team India after showcasing his excellent mentorship in the IPL 2024 that led to team KKR’s third title win.

With T20 World Cup 2024 winning coach Rahul Dravid earning INR 12 crore annually it is expected that GG will receive a higher salary.

Gauti’s first assignment as a head coach of team India will be a limited-over series against Sri Lanka which is set to start at the end of July.

Gambhir’s official tenure as India’s head coach begins from July 2024 and will be serving until Dec 2027.

Gambhir willingly left politics as a BJP MP before the Lok Sabha elections to focus on mentoring IPL franchise KKR.

Apart from having full control over all cricket operations, some reports said that Gambhir wanted freedom to choose his own support staff.
